At Benon, we believe that beautiful things deserve to be cared for. Our bedding is crafted from carefully selected cotton, chosen for its exceptional quality, softness and durability.
With thoughtful care, each piece can become a lasting part of your home. As a natural material, cotton may gradually soften and change in texture with washing and use, developing a character of its own. A few simple considerations will help preserve the beauty and longevity of your bedding while reducing its environmental impact.
Washing
We recommend washing your Benon bedding at a maximum of 40°C, using a gentle cycle and a mild detergent. Wash with similar colours and avoid overloading the machine to allow the fabric to move freely.
Turn duvet covers and pillowcases inside out before washing to protect delicate finishes and details.
Do not bleach. Avoid harsh detergents, as these may weaken the natural fibres and affect the fabric's appearance over time.
Drying
We recommend hanging your bedding to dry naturally, away from direct sunlight. Air drying is gentler on the cotton fibres, helping to preserve the fabric's softness, texture and longevity while reducing energy consumption.
If tumble drying is preferred, use a low temperature and remove while slightly damp to minimise creasing.
Ironing
For a smooth, refined finish, iron at a medium temperature, preferably while the fabric is still slightly damp.
Take particular care around decorative details, embroidery and delicate trims.
Between Washes
When not in use, store your bedding in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
