Men's Terry Robe

100% Cotton · Velvet-Faced Cotton Terry · 510 gsm

9,000 SEK

The Men’s Terry Robe has the ease of a dressing gown and the line of a soft overcoat. Cut long and straight through the body, with a broad shawl collar, three patch pockets, turned-back cuffs and a belt of the same cloth. A fine piping of Egyptian Giza 86 cotton sateen in Ivory, applied by hand, traces the collar, front edges, pockets and cuffs. In Deep Blue, a blue darkened with ink. Made from pure cotton terry, woven at 510 gsm with a smooth velvet face and a soft lustre. Supple and balanced in weight. Woven in northern Italy. Cut and sewn at the atelier in Stockholm.

At Benon, we believe that beautiful things deserve to be cared for. Our terry robes are crafted from carefully selected cotton, chosen for its exceptional quality, softness and absorbency.

With thoughtful care, each piece can become a lasting part of your home. As a natural material, cotton may gradually soften and change in texture with washing and use, developing a character of its own. A few simple considerations will help preserve the beauty and longevity of your robe while reducing its environmental impact.

Washing

  • We recommend washing your Benon robe at a maximum of 40°C, using a gentle cycle and a mild detergent. Wash with similar colours and avoid overloading the machine to allow the fabric to move freely.
  • Remove the belt and wash it alongside the robe, and wash separately from garments with zippers, hooks or other sharp details that may catch on the loops of the fabric.
  • Avoid harsh detergents, as these may weaken the natural fibres and affect the fabric’s appearance over time.
  • We recommend avoiding fabric softeners, as they can leave a residue on the cotton fibres and gradually reduce the robe’s natural absorbency.

Drying

  • We recommend hanging your robe to dry naturally, away from direct sunlight. Air drying is a gentle, energy-efficient method that helps preserve the cotton fibres over time.
  • For a softer, fuller finish, tumble dry at a low temperature. Gentle tumble drying helps restore the natural softness and volume of the cotton loops. Avoid excessive heat and over-drying to preserve the quality of the fabric.
  • Always allow your robe to dry completely before folding or storing.

Ironing

  • We recommend avoiding unnecessary ironing, as pressing the loops may flatten the pile and reduce its natural volume.
  • If desired, the sateen piping may be lightly pressed at a low temperature, taking particular care around the collar, pockets and cuffs.

Between Washes

  • After each use, hang your robe on a wide hanger or hook in a well-ventilated space to allow it to dry thoroughly.
  • When not in use, store your robe in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
